2008 BRC Racing Series Feb 23 - Falcon 5K Run Mar 08 - Run For Runaways 5K Apr 13 - Heritage Harbour 10K Run Apr 26 - De Soto 5K Run Sep 01 - Canes Cross Country Classic 5K Nov 22 - Harvest Hustle 5K Dec 29 - Manatee River Run 5 Miler * Only BRC members in good standing can earn series points and awards. * Racing Series points are cumulative throughout the entire 7 race series. * You will be scored in whatever age group you are in on race day. * If you move up in an age group during the series, your points will travel with you to the new age group. * Members must volunteer (work) at a minimum of one (1) BRC sanctioned event in 2008 to qualify for any awards. You may work registration or clean up which will count. * Members must run a minimum of three (3) races to qualify. * You can enter as many of the events as you wish, however only your five (5) best races will be scored. * Ties will be broken by the faster Manatee River Run 5 Miler time. * Awards will be presented at our Annual Awards Dinner in February 2009.
