The Melbourne & Beaches Music Marathon Weekend – 5K, 8K, 1/2 & Full Marathon: Melbourne, FL
The 3rd Annual State Farm Melbourne & Beaches Music Marathon Weekend hosts the 5K, 8K on Saturday, and the half and full on Sunday on a scenic waterfront course on Florida’s Space Coast. The event has water stops each mile of the course and will feature at least 20 musical acts along the route with a post-race concert providing beer, pizza and more to runners. Both the 1/2 and full will be USATF-certified courses with Champion Chip timing and the event is the USATF Masters National Championship. The 8-k is the USAT-Florida state championship race. The weekend offers a $10,500.00 total purse with $8,000.00 marked specifically for USATF-member Masters runners. Now in its third year, the Melbourne & Beaches Music Marathon is East Central Florida’s premiere distance event and one of Florida’s fastest growing races.
