Club Description
The Bradenton Runners Club (BRC) promotes a healthy and enjoyable lifestyle through weekly club runs on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays and social events such as the annual awards banquet, picnic, and pasta party.

The Bradenton Runners Club is a member of
Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) and USA Track & Field (USATF club #14-1132).

The Board of Directors meetings take place the second Tuesday of the month and are open to all members. A bi-monthly newsletter keeps members informed about area races and club activities. The BRC sanctions on the average ten races per year and holds three of its own fund raising events: Manatee River Run 5 Miler in Emerson Point Park, Palmetto in late December; De Soto 5K Run in downtown Bradenton in late April; and the Heritage Harbour 10K in east Bradenton in early April. Each year we award scholarships to Manatee County high school Cross Country & Track distance runners. Click here for scholarship details.

Club membership is open to all interested parties including walkers, joggers, non-competitive runners, biathletes, triathletes, and competitive runners regardless of age, sex or athletic ability. Experienced runners are available and willing to help beginners get started. Club dues are $15 per year for individuals and $25 for families. Renewal statements are issued in early December. If you want to improve your current level of fitness and meet the best looking and most interesting people in Manatee County, contact any club officer for more information.
