Runners – here’s your chance for an experience similar to the Boston Marathon with a point to point race along streets lined with thousands of cheering spectators. The De Soto 5K Run is your opportunity to race down the middle of Manatee Avenue, along the parade route, just before the Grand Parade. After the race, awards and refreshments are held in the School Board parking lot, just a short walk to downtown Bradenton to view the parade.
