The Start is approx 1/2 mile west of the registration/parking area
5 mile run at 9:00am
Kid’s Races start at 8:15 am; 5 to 6yrs run 200 meters @ 8:20 am; 7 to 9yrs run 400 meters @ 8:25 am. 10 to 12yrs run 800 meters @ 8:35 am.
A scenic adventure on hard shell packed winding trails through a variety of native ecosystems including beaches, lagoons, salt marshes, mangrove swamps, tropical hardwood hammocks, coastal strands and finished on a paved 1.5 mile roadway to the finish and great post race party.
Awards for top M/F finisher, 3 deep age group awards from 20-24 to 80+.
Walkers receive finisher participation ribbons.
All children receive finisher medals and top 3 boys and girls in each category receive engraved trophies.
All runners receive a $25 value Leslie Jordan dry fit shirt (sizes guaranteed to all pre-registered).
$25 until 12/23; $30 12/24 thru 12/30; $35 race day; Area running club members $20
Manatee River Run Party follows after the run with D.J. and raffles, refreshments from area restaurants for all participant and their families.
Early packet pickup at On A Shoestring, 3633 Cortez Road West, Bradenton FL 34210: 12/23, 12/26-12/29 9am-7pm & special hours 12/24 9am-2pm. Race morning packet pickup & registration 7:30am-8:45am
Directions to Snead Island. From I-75: Take exit 224 and then to US 301 south. Continue west on US 301 crossing both US41 through Palmetto. US 301 becomes 10th Street. Continue on 10th street west to Snead Island. Just after the bridge to Snead Island (In front of the Bradenton Yacht Club) to Tarpon Road, go right north one block and turn left. Parking will be on your left. Packet pick up and race day registration are in the parking area.
The Manatee River Run is the annual fundraiser for the Bradenton Runners Club.
